Buddies

Here’s some pictures of Brett and his buddy Liam hanging out.  I just cleaned a bunch of pictures off of Jean’s phone so these have accumulated over the past five months.  I never claimed to be right on top of everything.

Don't worry, they've got their bathing suits on...

Villanova Men’s Soccer Ball Boys

Brett and Liam were chosen to work as ball boys for the Villanova Men’s Soccer Team for their game against Manhattan College.  Nova won 2-0 and the boys seemed to enjoy themselves in spite of the heat.

It was blazing hot and just as humid.  I was able to take a late lunch and catch the first half.  Unfortunately I sweated through my work clothes which made for an uncomfortable last few hours in the office.

Here are Brett and Liam with their teammate Nolan.

McMenamin’s in Ocean City, Summer 2010

Here are some pictures of the kids down at the beach this summer.  With Jean and I both working this summer, the kids spent a lot of time with their Aunt Kate, who took some wonderful pictures of them.

If anyone’s looking for a photographer, Kate’s always available.  Click here to get in touch with her to schedule your shoot.

Abby’s Birthday Dinner With Grandmom Phil

Grandmom Phil took Abby out for her birthday dinner a week early because she was going to be in Aruba on the actual day.  Abby chose to visit Morimoto’s Japanese Steak House in Royersford for her dinner.

Our guests for the evening included Liam and Meghan Haffey.  Our kids have been before but I believe it’s the first time that Liam ever went to a Japanese restaurant.  It was funny watching the two first graders because they were both awfully nervous watching our chef in action.  They actually didn’t sit around the table/grille until after the chef was done cooking.  I’m guessing the flame intimidated them a bit?

Brett's Birthday–Part 1

Sunday we celebrated Brett’s 7th birthday a few days early because we would be in Florida on the actual day.  We started the morning with a quick trip to church, and from there we headed over to Legacy Karate for Brett’s “friend” party.  We rented the gym for a little over an hour and Brett had twelve of his best buddies there to do play some fun karate games.  Once we wrapped up, we went next door with the group of boys to have pizza at Bravo.

Later in the day, we had the Wynne clan over to celebrate his “family” party.  Dottie and her kids, Tom & Carole, Jim & Kim, and Gram & Pop were all able to make it, along with all the Grandkids except Michael, who had lacrosse tryouts.  The Haffey’s also came for dinner, so we had a full house for the little man’s birthday.  We ordered a couple of hoagies from Corropolese along with one of my favorite foods, Corropolese meat balls.  Jean had a nice spread put out for all to enjoy, and I think it’s safe to say that no one left hungry.

Halloween 2009

I’m really behind in keeping up with our pictures, but here are the kids costumes from Halloween.  Brett was a robot, with a costume he designed and made on his own.  His buddy Liam is a gorilla.  Abby and her best friend Meghan went out as babies.

Jake was sadly too cool to get dressed up.  He took advantage of the wave of Phillies euphoria and simply went out in a Phillies cap and Phillies sweatshirt.  I know if he showed up at our house he wouldn’t have gotten a treat, but he made out quite well when all was said and done.

It was a miserable night. It started in a slight drizzle and by the time the evening had wrapped up, we were in a downpour. At least it was on the warm side that night. We didn’t trick or treat in our neighborhood. We ended up going to the Haffey’s neighborhood and going around with the Haffey’s and Piontek’s.
